Etiquette

Dancers, visitors and teachers behave in a respectful manner towards one another.

In social dancing, priority is given to enjoyment and safety.

If others are waiting to dance, we change partners.

In accordance with Argentinean tradition, leaders (usually men) invite followers (usually women) to dance.
In accordance with local tradition, women also invite men to dance.
We are not obliged to accept an invitation to dance but may decline with grace and thanks for the invitation.

In classes and workshops teachers teach and students learn.

In Practica students help one another.
